IMPORTANT NOTES ON THE EARLY TRAILER
This trailer goes way, way back. I think we cut it in maybe 2008… it’s an old, internet-only trailer that we put together very early just to start getting the word out about the film.
And early/raw or not, it worked, because that three-plus minutes preview pulled in a ton of views over on the Hollywood 27 Productions YouTube channel, well before the documentary even found its rightful home here at Change the World Films.
Although rough around the edges, it still provides a solid foundation of what’s to come as the project progresses. This particularly holds true for the Moriarty family, one of four families featured in the film, as they share their stories about dealing with FTD hitting a loved one.
The biggest thing to note here, however, is that the professionals interviewed will no longer appear in the finished film, as the information is too outdated at this point. We’ll be re-shooting these segments in 2024 with new people involved to bring the documentary up-to-speed on any current advances made in FTD treatment, etc.

Eric’s First Experience with FTD
Although every diagnosis is different, frontotemporal dementia is often completely devastating to the person affected, with tragic a ripple effect onto the lives of their closest loved ones as well.
In this video, Eric tells the story of the first time he met someone with FTD, and also reveals the inspirational origins of the FTD documentary as well.
